When I was about 8 years old my Dad gave me a box brownie camera. Fascinated by what this little box could produce, many hours were spent snapping all sorts of things in our back garden, including our family pets.
Dad was a keen photographer and specialised in wedding photography. I would often help him process the wedding images he had taken.
I was never happy being photographed, and always preferred to be behind the lens.
On leaving school I trained as a hairdresser. Then many years later, went back to college to study photography. I had the opportunity to work with an amazing still life photographer in London, and also worked alongside with a commercial photographer traveling all over the country.
Then digital photography arrived so it was back to college to learn about this new technology.
With my love for animals and nature, I decided it was time to start my greetings card business and photographing cats was first on my list, hence the name Moggies and More.
I hope you enjoy these images as much as I loved creating them.
